I have elaborated what this Substack is about on my first post. Please take a moment to read it.

My name is Gui Pinto. For my day job I work for Adobe, solving problems and writing software for Adobe’s e-commerce platform. However, for my first career from the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s, I was a photojournalist working in Brazil for O Globo and Caras, a daily newspaper and a weekly magazine respectively, before moving to the United States.

I love photography. I love writing. So here I’ll be posting my pictures and writing about them. So the stories will also be about my whereabouts, as my photography is documentary by nature.

I hope you find this substack interesting enough to subscribe and be notified when I have new content. I don’t plan on having “premium” content behind a paywall for paid subscribers only.
